In traditional Japanese aesthetics, WABI SABI is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature. The music is a reflection of that- incorporating grooves, improvisation, and new-sound on the fly between musicians to enhance and create a distinct feel and mood setting in the visual arts.
